A Message from our Doctor
Gut Instincts didn’t begin in a lecture hall or operating theatre. It began in the quiet discomfort of unanswered questions. Patients with textbook symptoms but no textbook findings. Scans that looked normal, yet suffering persisted. And a system that often dismissed what it couldn’t see.
As a surgeon, I was trained to act decisively. But over time, I saw how decisiveness without reflection could miss the mark. How technical skill could mask clinical blindness. How repetition could be mistaken for mastery.
Gut Instincts emerged as a response to that quiet crisis—the over-reliance on what’s visible. CT scans as oracles. Algorithms as gatekeepers. And patients told it’s “all in their head” when the data doesn’t cooperate.
This platform is my way of slowing down. Of asking better questions. Of exploring the grey zones of medicine—where clinical judgment, patient experience, and scientific humility intersect. It’s a space for myth-busting, yes—but also for storytelling. For teaching medicine as a living, breathing discipline. For challenging dogma with clarity, credibility, and quiet disruption.
Because diagnosis isn’t written in black or white ink. It’s shaded in probabilities, patterns, and human bias. And in medicine—as in life—not everything that matters shows up on a scan.
Sometimes, the most important truths begin with a gut instinct.

Our Motivation
Many patients struggle with confusing, conflicting, or incomplete information about gastrointestinal health. At the same time, doctors often have limited time to explain complex concepts in ways that are easy to understand. Misconceptions, myths, and anxiety around gut issues are common.
Gut Instincts was created to bridge this gap, providing trusted, clear, and practical guidance directly to patients and caregivers.
Our Philosophy
Curiosity leads, compassion guides. We believe that understanding the gut goes beyond looking at organs—it reflects overall health and wellbeing. Knowledge should come without noise, focusing on what patients truly need while cutting through medical jargon and persistent myths.
Every insight we provide is grounded in evidence, explained with a human touch, and delivered with empathy.
What We Offer
Gut Instincts provides thoughtful educational content on gastrointestinal and related topics. Through engaging videos and carefully written blog posts, we clarify complex subjects and make them accessible.
Additionally, the platform offers a space for referring doctors and specialists to share insights and recommendations, connecting patients to expert guidance when it matters most.
Gut Instincts is not just about the gut—it’s about understanding the whole person.
We invite patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to join us in this ongoing conversation, where curiosity, clarity, and care intersect.
